A privacy policy of law refers to a legal document that explains how an organization collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. It serves to inform individuals about their privacy rights and how their personal data will be handled by the entity collecting it. The privacy policy is typically required for compliance with various data protection laws and regulations.

Key Components of a Privacy Policy

  • Types of Data Collected: Personal details such as names, addresses, emails, payment details, and browsing information.
  • How Data Is Collected: Whether it's collected through forms, cookies, or other methods.
  • Purpose of Data Use: Explains why personal data is collected, such as for improving services, processing transactions, or marketing.
  • Third Parties: The policy should specify whether personal data is shared with third parties, such as service providers or business partners, and under what circumstances.
The Union is recognised by the Malaysian Bar Council which has always shown tremendous interest and support in our activities and more importantly, in our members. We are also proud to have had His Royal Highness the late Sultan Azlan Shah, the Sultan of Perak who was also the previous Lord President, head of the Malaysian Judiciary, as our Royal Patron for the past 17 years.
